* CONCERNS * I have many concerns regarding religion, child abuse, illness, racism, poverty, our disabled veterans and the benefits of organ donations.......I will try to focus on these and many more subjects in the future...I do not have all the answers but maybe you can help me try to figure them out....If we can all work together , than nothing will stand in our way....I need some suggestions as to what we can do to stop evil...I can use your help.........
* THERE ARE MANY THING WE CAN DO TO STOP EVIL * * Start or join a neighborhhod watch to help stop crime in your area. * Don't look the other way when a crime is being committed. * Report suspicious activity to the police department. [cell phone] * Report drunk drivers on the road. Call police with cell phone. * Notify local authorities of possible child abuse. [ see my links ] * Notify school officials of possibe bullying in your childs school. * Report all drug activity. This seems to be one of the biggest evils. * If you hear a scream, investigate....Don't run the other way. * Prayer is the most important thing we can do. * Please send me some more suggestions for all to see...thanks
SUDDEN INFANT DEATH SYNDROME [ SIDS ] Research suggests that a simple electric fan may help protect against SIDS. This is when a baby, under 1 year of age , dies for unexplained reasons. The rebreathing of exhaled carbon dioxide may play a role, especially when a baby's head is covered or surrounded by soft bedding and when he sleeps on his stomach or side, are known risk factors. It is less likely when using a pacifier, the handle keeps bedding away, allowing better air to flow.........To see whether fans might provide the same benefit, researchers led by Kaiser Permanente Northern California interviewed mothers of 185 babies with SIDS diagnoses and 312 infants in a control group......A fan in the room, they report in the current Archives of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine, reduced SIDS by 72% and 94% when room tempature was above 69 degrees. Fans had an even greater protective effect in the presence of other risk factors , such as baby sleeping on his stomach or on soft bedding.......The key, presumably, is ventilation.......The researchers note that while SIDS deaths declined more than 50% since a national publicity campaign encouraged placing infants on their backs to sleep, 1/4 of child care providers still don't do it......Of course... check with your own baby doctor to verify these recommendations......Tell everyone you know, who just had a baby , this information.....It could save a life....
* GETTING TO KNOW YOUR RELIGION * Some of our christian leaders , in the past and present , have created a mystery surrounding our religion and have kept us in the dark for 2000 years. Within the last decade, I have listened to a great deal of information about our Christian religion by watching the Discovery, History and National Geographic channels. I do understand that some of this information is theory and may not be actual fact but it still makes you wonder why you have never heard this information before. A few religious leaders told me I watch too much television. I told them to get their heads out of the book and learn what scholars have found out about the christian religion. Many new discoveries have been made within the last 30 years about the history of our religion but the holy rollers do not want to hear it. I thought we should be learning these things in our local churches and sunday schools. Most of this information has been available for decades or even centuries but why is it kept secret ? What is wrong with this picture ? Face it , the Bible is not an easy read. There are a few bibles that have made it easier to understand. The NASB New American Standard Bible is an easy read bible but how can the typical christian find out about them, let alone know that they even exist. ** Go to my link for the NASB bible. ** The easier we make it , the more people will want to read it and hopefully understand it. Did you know that Jesus may have had brothers and sisters ? Why were so many books left out of the bible ? I was shocked to hear that Saint Mary Magdalene was not a prostitute and played a much larger part in the life of Jesus. Our early christian leaders and Popes made stuff up to suit their purpose. How can we believe when we have been lied too for hundreds of years ? I believe all of the answers are in the Vatican Library in Rome. We need to find out the truth for the sake of our children and for the future of our wonderful Christian religion. Seek knowledge and it will lead you to the truth. Our Holy Bible is part of the puzzle. If we could review , all the books of the bible and all of the religious artifacts located in the Vaticans library, then maybe this will answer some serious questions about our faith and the life of Jesus.
* PLEASE GIVE THE GIFT OF LIFE * Organ donations is the best way of saving someones life....We all have been touched by a loved one who needs an organ to sustain life....There are too many people, young and old, who die needlessly every day...It is very easy to sign up and this act of kindness will save a life....possibly yours....What are you waiting for ? * THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR CHILD ABUSE * 84% of prison inmates were abused as children. One in three girls and one in five boys are sexually abused by an adult at some time during childhood. Most sexual abusers are someone in the family or someone the child knows. Families with four or more children have higher rates of abuse or neglect, especially if their living conditions are crowded or they live in isolated areas. More than 80% of abusers are a parent or someone close to a child. Child abuse is far more likely to occur in a child's home than in a day care center. One in thirteen kids with a parent on drugs is physically abused regularly. Drinking and smoking heavily during pregnancy also endangers the health of unborn children. These facts are hard to swallow....How is there hope for the future unless we do something about it now...If you know of any abuse, past or present, call 1-800-4-A-CHILD... This is what a " Heavens Ranger " would do........There are many ways to stop evil.......
* SUPPORT FOR OUR DISABLED VETERANS * We owe much to the young men and woman who have sacrificed their lives and health to protect this nation of ours....I have discovered recently that most of the money that is being donated to our military establishments is not finding its way to our disabled soldiers....I would suggest contacting your local American Legion or V.F.W and speak to the commander. He should be able to tell you of a local disabled soldier who surely needs your help...this could be your son or daughter who is fighting for their mental and physical life.....Please pray for their spiritual , mental and physical health...Remember one thing...These brave soldiers have given YOU the freedom you have today....Don't let them down in their time of need....A Heavens Ranger would help them out.... * SUPPORT THE NEEDY MISSIONS IN AFRICA * Our fellow brothers and sisters need our support in Uganda Africa....Thousands of men, woman and children are dying every day from lack of everything needed to survive in todays world...Heavens Rangers has a following called ETAGM ministries in Uganda...Please be generous and support our brothers and sisters in Christ.........
